#FANTASTIC FOUR 3 MEGASHARE SERIES#
Fraction’s mission statement with this series was to evoke the same kind of fun and excitement Stan Lee used to prove in these hallowed pages, and so far he’s succeeding with flying colors. Fraction nails the witty banter amongst the family as they struggle to escape being planet food, and it makes the issue one you’ll read with a constant smile on your face. But as these things tend to do, everything goes pear-shaped when they realize the planet in question isn’t a planet at all (gasp!). This issue sees Marvel’s first family traveling to a distant planet and touching down to explore and research. Fantastic Four #3 shows the first signs that at least this series can be read on its own and enjoyed - immensely, I might add. While I’ve loved both Matt Fraction’s Fantastic Four and FF, I, like many, have had concerns that readers would have trouble enjoying one if they’re not reading the other. Spoilers are ahead, but only for the show – there’s no need to worry if you haven’t read the books. This issue marks the first time this series feels like it’s standing on it’s own two feet.

King Joffrey Baratheon is dead! That’s right, the insane boy ruler who many viewers had on their fictional character hit-list no longer walks among the living. This is way too big to keep bottled up any longer. If you managed to stay in the dark about the momentous occasion in this episode, prepare to be spoiled. These episodes feature the greatest action of its season, and whatever occurs, these surprising moments always result in people dying.
